Our Story

We're a café and food shop in South London whose simple aim is to make tasty food from high quality ingredients. Every day we create a combination of wholesome savoury dishes, sandwiches and salads alongside a range of baked goods and sweet treats.

Sally originally worked for Konditor & Cook and Brindisa before opening her own catering business. Sally's partner, Mark, originally worked for the late revolutionary foodie entrepreneur, Justin de Blank, and then Konditor & Cook, where he met Sally. In 2013 they opened Sally White with the aim of creating a high quality and unpretentious café and food shop for neighbours, friends and businesses based in Kennington.​​​​​

We work alongside individuals and businesses we like and we hope that the combination of simple good food and informed, friendly service makes our place and essential local drop-in for food and coffee lovers.

In addition to great coffee, savouries and cakes to take away, we also provide catering for your home, office , picnics and hampers.
